But within the words of this poem
I will continue to watch over you

Rahasia puisi ini ada pada dua hal, yaitu perhatian dan keabadian. Perhatian ada pada kalimat terakhir di setiap bait seperti : “I will never let you be alone” dan “I will continue to watch over you“. Sedangkan keabadian tersirat pada kalimat kedua dan ketiga disetiap bait, seperti ” When my body no longer exists” yang disusul kalimat “But in the lines of this poem“.

Dengan bekal perhatian dan keabadian tersebut, puisi ini sangat mempesona pembacanya, termasuk diriku ^_^.
